Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My very first thoughts were seeing red lights in the middle of the night. Being a firefighter's son it seemed natural for me to go into the volunteer fire dept. but after being there I found a reason all my own and that was to help my community when they needed our help. I started when I was old enough to help roll hoses and have worked my way to a firefighter/EMS/rescue technician.
