Why I Joined Fire/EMS: When i was a little girl i always liked to see EMS and always wanted to jump in with them and take care of people..LOL My mom always said that i would be part of the team when i got older...She was right..Just wish i would have done it sooner..

Why I Love Fire/EMS: To help those in need or those that just need someone to talk to...

Top Issues Facing Responders:: At times i feel that EMT's dont get as much respect as a medic..No offense to the Medic's i just wish at times that they can see that we are part of the team also and not let us feel like we mean nothing..

Injury

Hello all,

Well i have been away since March due to an injury that i sustained at work. I injured my right wrist and had two tear's and dislocated my ulna Ouch not fun. I finally had surgery in May and its now Sept and my wrist is not better. I will be having another surgery in Oct which sucks because now i have to put Medic school on the back burner and remain on light duty for another six months :o (.. But hopefully this time it can be fixed and i can get back to what i love. Hope… Continue
