Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Family legacy - maternal grandfather and uncle were fire chief. Local EMS agency allowed membership at age 16, so I joined that first. Fire department minimum age was 18, and by then I had been trained as EMT-Basic.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Variety, action, ability to help others
