I love the outdoors, when I'm not working I prefer to be backpacking, kayaking, running or traveling.

Day Job:

When I'm spending time with the fire department I teach Pilates and Gyrotonic. I combine this with my degree in Sports Medicine and do rehabilitation with a variety of clients. I now also offer massage therapy for my clients.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I originally joined after taking a EMT-B class and decided that working on a first responder team would be fun. I later discovered that RBCF required me to be a firefighter before I could even join the rescue crew, which involved much more than first responders. So I decided to try and fell in love with it.
