Well your gear got way more lays of PBI or Nomex,we only have 3-4 Lays of Nomex,PBI is used close to none!

I work for a service that provides not only Fire but also EMS to the County. My job involves many aspects including Industrial, Residential, and Rural responses, anything from Water Rescue to Rope and Confined Space. We are what you would call a Jack of all trades ... LOL

Lift with your Brain not your Back

Well it all started at a single vehicle MVC on a back county road @ 0545, we responded in a Squad and sent 2 Ambulances. As I pull up in the first ambulance we see a vehicle about 30 ft off the road wedged into the bush pretty good. Fortunately there was no need for extrication tools required. I crawl into the backseat of the vehicle to hold C-Spine and communicate with the passenger.
