Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined because I wanted to help people and I enjoy technical and difficult task. As one of our fire instructors says, you do get a thrill out of doing such things, even when its someone elses misfourtune, but in turn you are hleping them in one of their worst days.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the thrill of never knowing when a call is going to come or what i may be.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
For a small vol dept some of our biggest issues include, lack of man power during day time calls, lack of desire to train, new technology in cars, and a joke when it comes to selecting who is in charge of trucks.
