If you don’t eat your meat, you can’t have any pudding!

I read an article by an old acquaintance the other day.  I don't want to identify the author because this is not about the "who", but the "what." What a concept.  Here's an excerpt:“There  was a code that said that the coach was always right and you NEVER questioned a coach’s decision in regards to you. Like it or not, you had  to respect it. It was not an option!  Sound familiar?  It should!”“I came up in the fire service at a time when we did what our instructors told us to do. We learned…See More

I want to thank you for making a comment about my discussion. I totally and wholeheartedly agree witj you on everything you have said. I have many years in the EMS service but only 2 1/2yrs in fire and my company wanted me to run for 2nd LT...I dont think I have the experience yet for that, though I have been taking courses and trying to learn as much as I can.
Be Careful and Stay Safe.
Thanks again, Kathy

Years ago I was told that if you don't acknowledge EVERYBODY, then don't acknowledge ANYBODY. I should have gone on longer and added the rest. You have a great site and there was nothing about the names on there other than the ones I hurriedly typed in in an effort to get that post out. Sorry.
