Chris: Been reading the discussion about venting and your responses. I am familiar with your "pencil" tactic, I taught that back in the late 1970s only I called it "spotting the ceiling". Would you be kind enough to share some info on your method of operation without venting. If you have a report of anyone trapped, do you use the same tactic versus any ventilation. My concern is the exposure time of trapped victims to the products of combustion.
