Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I blame it on Johnny and Roy...and Captian Stanley. Then there was a substitute teacher while I was in High School that was a South Bend Paramedic Firefighter, I did a ride along with him several times and was "hooked"...recieved my Firefighter Certification my senior year of high school and my EMT in the fall after I graduated.
