John Crabbe replied to Andrew's discussion What Do you Think of this video is this how your fast team arrives on a scene ?
"When it comes to the dragging issue, I can agree with the comments made, however, once again such a short clip does leave interpretation to the viewer. In one way, I could say this was a short distance to clear the front of the engine and the…"

FETC replied to Andrew's discussion What Do you Think of this video is this how your fast team arrives on a scene ?
"Well as others have said, it is up to the officer. My concern as an officer is the metal wire basket stokes is not designed to be dragged over the road, therefore it can damage the basket when needed in the future. I certainly wouldn't want to…"

Andrew replied to Andrew's discussion What Do you Think of this video is this how your fast team arrives on a scene ?
"They are assigned the rit/fast team this is not the first time that these members have done this to me there should be 4 guys carring this and waliking it in to the scene not dragging it like lazy unprofessional "fireman" if you want to…"

John Crabbe replied to Andrew's discussion What Do you Think of this video is this how your fast team arrives on a scene ?
"Pretty narrow between the engine and the parked cars. Short of marching in with bagpipers or arm-in-arm and skipping, how else can you get the guys to come in all together? Probably just me, but I don't see an issue here, I've walked up…"

andrew, welcome to the family ,,,, it's a fun site & does have interesting blog discussions ,,,, i like reading & seeing how other departments do the same thing but also like looking at different styled apparatus's used all over the world ,,,, i'm a crash firefighter and we have some of the weirdest ,,,, look at my pics to see some past and present day pieces ,,,, word to the wise, if you trade patches be careful, there are a few people here that just want to get one then not send one back ,,,, i won't mail anything now till i have something in hand ,,,, my goal now is not to get a patch from you i do not collect them ,,,, (but i will trade duty tee-shirts from far away countries and that's how i got "BURNED", i sent the sleaze a tee-shirt & 3 patches and got nothing back ...) i'm just watch-n your back, something most of us on the job understand, it's a big part of what the brotherhood and the family is all about ,,,, if you wanna add me as a friend, great ,,,, if not, that too is OK because this message is intended to mostly welcome, but also warn you ,,,, like in the fire service, not all things are as they appear ,,,, work hard, play hard and train even harder ,,,,
what we do makes a difference, be safe, god bless and smile a lot and every day, it will piss someone off ,,,,
lucky
PS: pics, pics and more pics ,,,,
