Retired Florida firefighter Tom “Bull” Hill is walking hundreds of miles from Key West to Florida’s Capital Tallahassee carrying the messages of support for the firefighters who have died from suspected job-related cancer and to raise awareness about benefits families of firefighters don’t receive after their spouse dies of cancer. This week he arrived in Melbourne Florida after a twenty -two mile walk with his firefighter escorts.

However elected officials do not care about first responders unless it makes them look good or THEY need them in an emergency, If they did they would already have enacted a law for benefits to be assigned. Shame on them
