I didn't post the pic to start argument. It easy to sit back voice opinions, but if you wernt on the call you do not know what we were facing at the time the pic was takin. I can tell you it was a last resort and we made a great save because of it, and I'd do it the same way tomorrow if the same reason came up.

The problem is,Mr Dunn, the roof is weak under a fire,it's not safe to STAND on it,that's all.We can put it out thru the windows or doors though cutting a vent in the roof is the best way to let the smoke and heat leak as we all know.Like what I said, since there is no sign of living things inside the room, there is no need to stand on the roof on the risk of collapse.Because nobody knows when it comes.Well, let's make an end to our arguement, you are right, that's absolutely a normal practice there and has been working fine and I hope that also works fine to you.

Whatever,Mr Dunn,I already had given my advice. The option to take or drop is on people's hands.By the way,I'm pretty damn sure I can finish a fall protection on myself with in 1 min.It might be slower for a rookie who knows very little about fall protection, but for most of the firemen I knew about, just couple of sec.You are pro,I believe you can make it faster than me.

Easy, easy,Mr Dunn,I was just trying to give an advice to those who liked standing on the roof without fall pretotetion like Petzl ASAP or Beal Monitor :-)

I have to say, just 0.1Mpa water hammer effect, both firemen on the roof down. The pump operator can control the pressure of the outlet of the pump, but can't control the pressure of the hose end.
