I can't wait!! i have about 5 1/2 months before I can be a Cadet!!! I can't wait to join the family!!!

i did it! i always had to prove myself,miserable guy told me to go home stay pretty,barefoot and pregnant i told him to go to hell. 2 years ago i retired after 17 years. and proud.

Hey i agree, but it irks me that we have to prove ourselves over and over before the boys club will except us. I almost didn't get on because of one wife! She was worried about me showing up 3 am for a fire and what i was going to be wearing. I told her if your husband is watching me get in my bunker gear, he wasn't a dedicated fireman. Stand up and give em crap, this they understand. Enjoy it, live it, breath it, you'll be there for a long time.

Well i did it!! Became a firefighter! never thought in a million years that i would try this. But i love every time the tones go off and the ruch i get to go and help! it's an amazing feeling to go out with the big boys and show em that we can do this job too!!
