Comment by Kelly Shelton on October 26, 2012 at 12:17pm One of the things I have been working on is firefighter survival. The biggest emphasis on entanglement. As you know there are a lot of things that fall down in a structure fire. I have been working wight my company on different things they can do to keep from getting ensnared. There is a great video series on youtube that goes over such training. It is firefighter collapse and entanglement emergencies. It is a 4 part series and it even goes over potential areas on your PPE that could cause entanglement. hope that helps
Comment by Jen Rosser on February 25, 2012 at 2:10pm I think tomorrow for training we will work on drafting. There are a lot of new people on the department that have never had to do this as well as the older folks who probably could use a refresher.

Comment by Jim Vieira on November 20, 2011 at 7:43pm If theres anyone out there who is looking for a company to supply your department with an excellent RIT class, try Cross St. Associates out of Uxbridge, Mass. Joe Nedder is an excellent instructor who gives training at FDIC. Check him out you wont be sorry. www.crossstassociates.com
A new stress management Training module is available (no charge, no login required) for responders and those in direct patient care at: usawellnesscafe.org
Just click on the Training icon at the top of the page. The site is under development, but would you kindly review the module and let me know if it's meaningful to you?
