Our current rescue is a former Salem ambulance which is bigger than our old two seater box van. We have room for our extrication equipment and a crew of seven. I would like to have a heavy rescue triple axle just because they look cool, but probably wouldn't do to well in our rural area.

Definately like the walkaround design letting you get to your equipment from the ground. Here is our Hackney heavy rescue.

SJFR Squad 17 "Heavy Rescue" 1 of 2 "squads" in our county...responds to all working fires and good mvas. We purchased a smaller truck due to the fact we have a first due medical and fire zone..love it
