Comment by Nick Vaught on September 12, 2010 at 7:27am: You are right. MFFTC is in control of the certs but are not under the MSP any more. They are seperate now. EMS will be going seprate from natinal registry in 2012.

Comment by James Schaefer on September 10, 2010 at 5:11pm: F.F. I and II certs. are put out through Michigan's Firefighter Training Council. It is still being being debated on whether the state should go IFSAC. I believe the MFFTC is still under the MSP I believe. I also believe that the EMS section is dropping National Registry and joining a consortium of other states dropping the registry.
