Hi everyone, welcome to the group. I'm a volunteer in central Victoria, Australia, and an an active member of my brigade's competition team. We compete in several urban fire brigades championships during the summer months across Victoria, culminating in the State Championships in March each year. I started competitions as a junior in 1980, and carried it through when I became a volunteer in 1985, and kept competing until the early 1990s, when I moved to Melbourne. Since leaving Melbourne last year, I have returned to both volunteer firefighting and the competitions.
