Hello all! I just joined this site tonight and it is awesome! I drive local for Total Logistic Control here in Central Illinois. I am a volunteer firefighter and a emt basic for Mechanicsburg.

I may not drive 18-wheels, but have 10. I gave up a well-paying plant job, got my CDL-A and now drive the local sanitation engineer truck. Although not glamorous, I do get to see my kids and make all my meetings and training that I missed before.

20yr retired, but been trucking for about the last 7 years as a paid on call. I do miss the ff stuff.

Hey all hope all is well, know what ya all mean on not maken many calls when on the road, heck I even have a hard time maken all my drills and classes for my GED.

i was hopeing for a group like this i work in the oilfield driveing a truck and am a volly who dont make many calls. hope all of yall are home and have a safe holidays. stay safe when you do catch your next call!

$4.25 for a gal of #1 diesel.......I pity the poor SOB who bought my Western Star. 475 Cat 3406E, 15sp, would pass anything but the fuel island. Helluva nice truck, though, all $102,000 of it.
