You should try using chains as it adds weight as you go up and the half way point would be help by this.
Have you seen Chain benching?

Thanks Jeff I alway lose it half way up. Could it be that I don't use a lift off also. I hate lift offs cuz that's how most accidents happen.

Jake Thanx. I had worked hard on my 3 lifts only to be side lined by injury. My left arm is still giving me trouble and I'm going to have it looked at. I think it's in my neck. A few years of 5 to 600lb bench can do it to you.

Juan it depends on where your weak point is. You can do lock outs or rack lifts. Chain or Band lifts.
Where do you lose it?

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any tips for me to increase my Bench Press. I have been stuck at 505lbs. for about 4 months now and no matter what I try to do I can't get passed that. Sometimes I'll go for a couple of weeks without even being able to break 490. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
