Weather Emergency today. Keep in mind that this will bring on driving and response challenges. Slow down, use extra caution, and use your heads, however difficult that may be. You can't help anyone if you slide off into a ditch or cause a wreck.

David Watson had a stroke yesterday. He's responding well to treatment. Keep him in your thoughts. Contact me if you want to send him something.

NOTICE: Coming up is mandatory Infection Control, HAZMAT, and other training, plus updating insurance paperwork. Please make every effort to attend training meetings. We all know that training is on Tuesday nights, regularly. Also, remember the Awards Dinner on the 30th. Sign up for a covered dish.

To all members, we are taking a look at our first responder protocols, and will be issuing some new equipment for some of you, that reside in the outlining areas of the district. Captain Bailey will be heading this up. We will be rolling this out soon!

Just another random observation: we really need to work on our spelling.

Just cause hands on training is better dosen't mean that is all you have to do.. lets say you got two hours of training on tuesday night you can do 1 hour of the book work preparing you for the 1 hour of hands on then you get both then it helps people understand okay the book shows it like this then you can get time to apply your hands on knowledge to better understand the lecture
