in my department we dont really have assigned apparatus but those who want to be truckies we just always get on the truck.  we have a 65' quint does that still count

What's with all the truckie haters on here recently? If you don't want to be one of us, that's fine, but you don't see us crashing the engine company pages reminding them who has to do the rational thinking on the fireground, do you? If it wasn't for the truck, some of you guys would be standing out front, knocking on the door to get in. No, really, I've seen it.
