Gentlmen,I did a test.A squirt gun with 0.2MPA's pressure can shoot to 20 Metre's range. But when I increase the pressure to 1.2MPA,the range became 35 Metre. Before this test,I thought pressure of squirt gun and range of squirt gun should be in direct proportion. That is to say,1.2MPA should be 120M.But the result is,1.2MPA pressure can only shoot water for only 35Metre!I am really confused and I hope some fellows could tell me something.

Tony:Different people call a same thing with different names."Squirt gun" is directly translated into English by me,and I am not a professional interpreter but a professional firefighter. The squirt gun is what you said "on the end of the hose and can be controlled by firemen".The water cannon is a large caliber squirt gun,it is usually fixed on the roof of the fire engine. There are two types in our company, type 100 and type 80.Type 100 means the caliber of the water cannon is 100mm(10cm).But when it works, you can not use the water gun simultaneously.Because the water cannon and water gun use a same pump.A fireman can not control the water gun due to a large pressure which is needed by the water cannon.Perhaps a firesuperman can.The difference between squirt gun and water cannon is water gun has a 19mm caliber while deck gun has a 100mm caliber. That's all.
