Hello all I am starting a discussion on unique medical calls sure all medical calls are unique in their own but which one stood out more than the others I can remember a few one was only one I have heard my instructor at the time only tell us was about the little old lady that was between the toilet and the wall curiosity took me over and asked how? And the other I a local frequent flyer that was "stuck in a door" when we got on scene the person was literally wedged between the door and the door frame that was a head scratcher to see that haha I would love to read everyone's unique med call stories old or new thanks and be safe.

Back in my full-time EMS days in New Orleans. I was the on-duty rescue officer when I was dispatched on a call for a child in distress. Upon arrival at the scene, it turned out to be an approximately 8 year-old boy who had gotten his head stuck in a set of burglar bars. It turned out that he was not in any respiratory distress or had any injuries. He was simply just stuck. I got some tools off of the rescue truck and spread the bars wide enough to free his head. His mother thanked us and then proceeded to mete out "maternal justice" on the child. That was definitely one of the more unique and humorous calls in my career.

Haha very interesting
