Turnout Gear
does anyones departments use turnout gear made by firepel? My department just got me a set of Firepel gear, I really dont know why when the rest of the department wears globe.. but how is this type gear?

Robert, I have never heard of firepel before. But if it has the NFPA sticker it should be fine.

Never heard of this type or brand. As long as it meets the NFPA Standerds,try it.

Robert, we had a big fire today, The fire dept. I called in had Fyrepel. They love it. Good looking gear.

ive never used it before, thats a good sign, that someone really likes it

it took long enough to get shipped into, it took like 5 months to get that gear, it was shipped from georgia

Robert, I have used fyrepel gear and it is good gear once its broken in. I would suggest washing it atleas
twice to get some of the stiffness out. but after that it wears fine and holds up pretty good as well. i kinda wish i still had mine.
