I want to hear some of your first world problems like mine which is:

That awkward feeling when your pants ride up your legs in your bunker pants/boots and it drives you nuts because you can't take off your boots/pants to fix it.

Sound off everyone.

Well, like when you have shorts on and jump in your bunker pants and the tops of your boots rub the back of your legs raw.

Or the ever famous volunteer forgetting socks and having blisters from your boots and you can't wear regular shoes for a week.

Even for being a rookie I already thought of that and keep a spare pair with my gear just in case that middle of the night call comes in and i dont have time at home to pop them on.

i started doing that after it happened to me

When I was younger I used to keep my personal bunker pants at home.  I would get up at night and in underwear and a t-shirt put on my bunkers.  I did that for a couple of years with no socks, until the FD bought its first sets of bunkers then I would get dressed and go down to the station.  Never got a blister with the no socks thing.  Maybe your boots don't fit right?

Trying to scratch an itch on your back when in full bunker gear, and engaged in a critical task.

Why is it every time I put on an scba face piece my nose or eye itches?

Yep!!!

Classic! Too bad we don't have photos of that!

The only funny gear-related happening we had recently was when a buddy who was masked up turned to me and said, "What is this sh&# inside my mask???" I looked closely as he inhaled and exhaled. He had tiny pieces of insulation floating around like tiny moths inside his face piece. It must have been from a previous fire we had made. We had a good laugh.

He does a more thorough job of cleaning his mask now...
