EHR/ PCR topic what are you using for your EMS documentation

I'm looking for some input from you guys. I would like to know what you are using for your patient charting.  I would like to hear from the non transport departments.  One of my departments runs about 1500 ems calls as EMT-B before the ALS ambulance gets on scene. We currently use good old paper and pen on a simple ems run form.  Our documentation is shotty at best.  I'm considering looking into new alternatives. Weather that be  a new paper form, electronic/tablet charting or just more training on our current outdated ems chart.

What do you use, and what do you think of it? Let me know the pros and cons.

Any help in this area would be great!

Thanks and stay safe!

We use ImageTrend for essentially all reports, from fire calls, EMS calls, to documenting training and daily station activities. We DO do transports, but don't see why that would particularly matter. On EMS calls we do have toughbooks on the ambulances to document the patient report and can upload that report via wireless internet, right to ImageTrend. For the engine or truck companies on an EMS call, if they arrive first, they use a paper report, but all info is turned over to the ambulance. If the ambulance is not needed, it is possible to put all needed infor right int the software. For the most part this has worked well for us as opposed to our old system FireRMS.
