I am looking for any comments regarding the night scan chief versus the command light shadow. I like the night scan height but command light quick deployment. I plane to buy a 12vdc LED version and place on my rescue truck. Primarily for accident/rescue scene illumination. So lots of light needed but not overall long distance. My biggest concern is the night scan pneumatic system in severe weather (cold, windy, ics and snow).

I would also like to see feedback the FRC Focus lampheads. Are they the best ? how are the new Optimums and the pioneer plus compared to the Focus? Can you reduce overall illumination power when using these? Since I am going 12vdc power light power is at a premium and I want the most for my money in the right place. manufacturer web sites don't really provide much in terms of X lumens at X distance comparisons.
