Thoughts on Forum Home Page

Please let me know your thoughts what your opinions are on what the main opening page of the Forums should be set to ... we've got a few new options and would like to hear your thoughts

Option A: Browse Category Tree with Latest Activity Numbers (with Multiple Sort Options)
http://www.firefighternation.com/forum/category/listByTitle

Option B: Browse Most Recent Discussions Overall (with Multiple Sort Options)
http://www.firefighternation.com/forum/topic/list

Option C: Browse Recent by Top Categories (Current Default)
http://www.firefighternation.com/forum

I think Option B, which shows a synopsis of what the thread is about, may probably be the better choice.

What about simply adding the ability to see either the home page as it is (whichever you choose, I'm not big on change so I'll get used to whatever change you make), or click on a button to see new posts (such as on firehouse.com). That way you can browse by category or by newest reply (including new topics).
